Displays a partial or complete hierarchical static outline view of your file system.
Use the Display menu’s Outline Options to change this display in various ways.
To show or hide the next level of a folder’s contents, click on its triangle.
To show or hide the entire sub-tree of a folder, Option-click on its triangle (this may
be a lengthy operation for showing high-level directories).
To scroll up the folder hierarchy, or to scroll to adjacent files or folders, click on
a file or folder name and hold the mouse to popup the path to top-level volume.
Double-clicking on a folder or volume opens its file system attributes for editing; double-clicking on a file opens it with Resorcerer’s File Editor.
Clicking in this window’s Go Away box hides the window. Option-clicking in this
window’s Go Away box reclaims all memory used by the File System Browser.
Memory requirements are approximately 60 bytes + name length per file or folder
that has been shown at least once.
Please be merciful in your expectations! This is not the Finder and it doesn’t want to be.
